“Once Bitten”
An interactive digital happening and live theatre project being devised by Zoie Kennedy of TWICE SHY THEATRE with Desmond O’Connor of O’CONNOR ARTS & ENTS.
‘Once Bitten’ is due to open Glasgow Cabaret Festival on Saturday 8th October, 2011 at The Cottier Theatre, West End.

Roll up, roll up! Hear the band’s discordant waltz; See the clowns cry crocodile tears and the strong-man gorge himself on forbidden flesh in this twisted circus of humanity. The sequinned lady stands mute as flying knives pin her in place whilst cutting her loose from her desire to please.
Once Bitten introduces Desmond O’Connor, Zoie Kennedy, Juliette Jeanclaude and a team of gifted musicians in a new theatre cabaret piece that explores the desire to lay oneself bare on stage whilst hiding behind the manifold masks of the entertainer.
The scratch performance in July at the Bistrotheque was a preview of material to be included in the full length show which will premiere at the Glasgow Cabaret Festival in October. More details can be found at www.desmondoconnor.com.
